  Upon delivery, I requested a receipt of the final inspection, stating that everything was in order and there was no damage to the car. The agent accepting my car ensured me twice that everything was done, that he had checked my car as being fine, and that I would receive a receipt online in a few minutes. Upon receiving the e-mail, I noticed I was charged $9.90 for 3L of fuel. It is absolutely impossible that the tank was 3L short, as I had filled up only a few hundred meters away, topping up to ensure the tank was full.
  Why Thrifty resorts to such practices is beyond me. It is not a big sum, but undoubtedly dishonest. I can only imagine the frustration if they choose to write up some damage after final inspection as experienced by others below.
  Stay away.
